This is in front of Place des Arts in Montreal, taken back in 1982 or thereabouts. I spotted them from the street below, focused, and literally as I took the shot they spotted me. I didn't know he had flipped me the bird until I developed the picture. A second after I took the shot, however, they both leapt down, presumably to come after me, and I fled down the street.
The image quality if poor, primarily because it is a poor scan of a negative. But I love the shot - the symbolism of the the white and black geometery converging on the the two guys, together with their shared hostility towards the viewer, I find speaks volumes.

They jumped down to run after you? Obviously, neither of them has been slapped up side the head with a Canon 5D*, or they'd be more cautious.
(or, in 1982, a Hasselblad ELM).

The rude fellow is quite annoying, but I suppose part of the fun was then being able to capture the shot without him being able to do much about it.
Photographically, I enjoy the texture of the building and the expression on the other person's face.

The Picture have a very strong impact, i like it very much. For me is the question about the story, did you going away healthy?

Oh man, only one more rating was needed!! I uploaded it more than 24 hours before the end of the theme, and it couldn't muster 13 ratings...a reflection of the dwindling activity on here.
