Hi Beamer..seeing as it's you maybe it is the place I am thinking of? If so you captured it well.

I took this in the late '70's in the Big Sur area. Don't know exactly where. This is TriX shot with my old college era camera, a Minolta SRT 101 w/55mm f-1.7 MC Rokkor. It's the only camera I had for many years. I still have it. The shutter isn't working well and the lens has fungus, so it sits on the shelf!! I scanned this with my Nikon Coolscan 4000.

Thanks for the info regarding where you shot this.. it so looks like the Coast highway from SF to Santa Cruz .. did you climb down a steep path to get this shot? I have been to Big Sur a number of times and can't place this shot.. not that that statement means much as I am surely not familiar with all of the Big Sur region.

Yep!! For sure a steep climb, lubricated by some acid probably, or at least some hash...

Somewhere I've got a high view of this, not sure I scanned it but I'll look tomorrow if I get the time...
