Although I do like this image, I think you could've been bolder with the contrast - the highlights are a little weak.

@Maggie - it was only 10s. I was really wanting to get the whoosh of the water going out and still be able to see a bit of the rocks underwater. It is always so much fun to experiment long exposures at the coast and more often than not I don't care a wit if I even get a usable image, just being there is enough.

Maggie, this was in Pacific Grove. We stayed there a couple of nights in April and spent our evenings doing long exposures.

Pacific Grove in Monterey? I go there a couple of times a year .. beautiful waves on the rocks and friendly squirrels.

@Richard, I will take that as a compliment however Mal typically does much longer exposures, about 120 seconds, which give a completely different look.
