Certainly urban decay - I find it a little soft though and the crop towards the top is a bit awkward with the top left piece of barbed wire 'hanging' - but overall a nice image.

I totally agree about the composition. Once I got it posted up here, I thought I should have paid more attention to the top of this shot. Thank you!

Oh, and it was taken with my little Kodak Easy Share. That might attest to the softness.

Overall a very striking image. What I especially like is the abandoned building and the presumably abandoned building also to the left. I also really like the look of the fencing and while the building and fencing both look urban, the one small caveat I have is that the empty parking lot itself (at least in my impression) diminishes just a tad the urban feel... that size of lot (or at least as big as it appears) suggests more of a "suburban" sort of decay. Obviously, it can and likely IS very urban... I am just saying my gut impression says it is a little less urban because of the space. Overall and EXCELLENT image.

This is an un-used Amtrack Passenger Train Station in a very poor/decaying part of the city. Thank you for the comments.

A great example of urban decay! The chained up fence really adds to the feel and the choice to go B&W here is excellent!
