Another tough guy!! The fist? is a bit distracting and I think unbalances your portrait. And the white line below too, I would loose both and re-crop for a more dramatic rendering.

Its a badly digitized old slide from 1984 ...
The "fist" is a candle.
The image was made by the light of the candle and the tip of the cigar only.
Ther white lines are the candloe stand... :-)
The camera was a Praktica.

This shot was taken in 1984 with a Practika, on 35 mm slide probably Sensia 200 ISO. The only light being the candle and cigar tip.
AS couple of years a go I scanned my slides with a low fi scanner. Editing that scanned slide in Nikon CaptureNX2 resulted in this posterized effect.
