Andy: well this image is my homepage "signature" I feel this as a perfect self portrait... I know my face isn't in the picture, but is it really necessary?

Karmen. As things we own and collect are part of our personality you could argue its not necessary. But i think its a bit of a cop-out. But that said good lateral thinking. I should have photographed my empty bottles of JD ;)

I am presuming that the cat and Star Trek both portray metaphysical aspects of your psyche and therefore represent your portrait? An interesting image, and seeing Leonard Nemoy is intersting as well. Relevance is a bit lower for me than in other images with the photographer more "photographic".

If your name isn't Leonard Nimoy or Maneki Neko, then this doesn't really work as a self portrait.
It's neat that they both have their hands up, but that's not enough to cut it.

you made me note I have that cat for ages at home and I never understood the gestures . you illuminated me ! :) btw the picture is well composed but kinda uneasy imagine it as a self portrait, oh well if you demostrate us you are Mr spock , Cheapeau!
