Wow, the shadows and colors on the water really give this an abstract feel. It took me a minute to figure this one out.

Wow this is so unique. The water beneath the bridge looks so solid due to the longer exposure that it takes a closer look to fully appreciate.

Great Impact, well actually great everything!
If I had to crit something, then the different blues left and right of the bridge! Even if it is natural the way it is, darkening the right part might have improved this already superb image a bit!

Thanks for the comments and ratings. The constellation in the centre is Orion. When I took the picture the stars were not visible through the mist shrouding the river and the bridge.

The difference in blues is a result of the moon being just out of shot to the right, but I take your point ChriZ.

This is GREAT! Any HDR work on this?...not that I expect there to be. Just curious.

This got featured before I got to rate it but I would have given it 5's. That you managed to get such a great image of my favorite constellation into it is just icing on the cake. I'd high five you if you were standing nearby.

@King – I processed the Raw file twice. The second time was just to pull a bit of detail out of the underside of the bridge. I also adjusted the white balance to negate the orange cast from sodium streetlights. Otherwise it's as shot.

I looked at the daytime version, and I have NO IDEA how it didn't get featured! Maybe poeple just din't get it, or perhaps it was the sun that ruined the overall look. This one totally kicks ass, and deserves it's feature.

@psychodudu – I like to think that the daytime version would have featured if I had posted earlier. I was only invited to WeeklyShot last week and posted the image about 11 hours before the theme closed. Presumably seven ratings is not enough to feature. Never mind - I'm very pleased with the way this one has been received, so thanks again to all who have rated and commented.
