maybe i just do not get the idea, but why is it negative space? the texture and colour of the wall is marvelous, though.

Believe it or not, I think this photo could use either more or less negative space. It would be more dramatic with more space around the cross or a closer crop--very different messages depending on the intent.

I really like the colors light in this, but I'm not wild about the composition. I keep looking into the dark edge on the left for something.

Everyone - Thanks for the feedback. For a newbie any and all feedback is appreciated.

culberda - Thanks for the tip. I tried both suggestions before selecting this one. The closer crop option was the better of the two.

kadenajack - I keep looking off to the left as well. I guess that to some degree that is the thing with religion. We are all looking off to the dark edge for something.
