The light (or PS?) on the baton is just perfect. The framing is great and so is the timing. High marks from me.

My blind fiddler got a not so good comment on the crop. BUt what that person forgot and did not think about . was the angle of the shot that allowed the cleaner non cropped bits was a weaker shot. the power was from the angle I shot it. Like this conductor I could say ,"Ahhhhh too bad it's cropped" But you know I'm looking at it and I hope everyone looks and concludes that this shot as well is stronger this way than jut a full shot. After all a full shot is a dime a dozen. Kudos for nailing this moment this close and pulling out a moment of emotion of a conductor while working the music. 55555

Thanks Wings. The original shot is further out so this was a conscious crop on my part. We all make decisions based on our own personal preferences and visions but sometimes when we capture the best moment it does not always work the way we want compositionally and then we have to decide what is most important to ourselves. Some prefer the whole scene, others like it tighter in but in the end we get to decide what we like to represent our personal work and for me that is a constant exploration of themes, ideas and experimentation.
