Now that I look again, I am further confident in my approach. The texture/pattern of the garage door behind would also maybe refract through the glass and provide some nice visuals too!

Not sold on the composition, but I do like this take on the theme.

I'll explain the composition.
This was a "drive by" while walking.
I was on a 'tour' in Italy when this was taken, and I was following our tour guide (with a group of 40) through the city to get to the Pantheon. The tour guides there like to fit in a LOT of city (which is good) but for someone that likes to take photos of EVERYTHING, not so good. I was always trailing the group and running to catch up to the umbrella that we had to follow.
So...this was for SURE not composed more than what you would if in a car driving past.
I was also across a mall and had to zoom in. So yes, if I had more time, and were able to get closer, this would have been a different photo.

You could comment on this photo if you were logged in.
There is a nice shot to be had here - but this composition is very uninspiring.
I would have gotten opposite, level with the glasses and got a straight on shot with the glass and his hands hovering above like UFO's in independence day!
As it stands this compo is too much like "Oh over there, click".
