C major scale. Looks like a frustrated piano playes after doing chop sticks, I personally do not call this music. Instrument yes, at most.

A great find, but this would benefit from a different point of view. The straight on view presented here is just too rigid and clinical for my. This is also lacking depth. The front of the keys is soft, which seems out of place in a documentary shot like this.

I wonder if you could get a single note out of this sad piano. The music has faded. If there were some way to make a more powerful composition, leading us into and through this scene, this would get higher marks from me. I also don't see the need to have the front edges of the "white" keys out of focus.

I'll try and explain the conditions I was shooting under. This was an abandoned home, and this piano was on the front porch. VERY dark, but I didn't want to use much flash. I used a bounch flash. I have other angles of this piano, including a full shot of it. But the porch is very boring and didn't hold a lot of interest for me when I saw the results of all my shooting. Pluse the piano isn't very interesting in and of itself.

And no, the piano didn't work. I would have sat and played a little Fur Elise, but there was too much grime between all the keys. I tried!

Funny though. I presented another shot of an old, abandoned organ, earlier in the theme and got very bad scores for a full size shot of a keyboard. Can't please anyone any of the time.

I voted already on this - but I thought it was a nice shot. Only let down by technique. There is no need for such a shallow depth of field here.

Thank you! Nice to wake up to this. Though I love my first entry much better (and had voted for this theme, specifically because of it)... this is ok too.
I did take this shot just for the theme.
