On first glance I really did not like this image but after looking a few times it has grown on me. I'm not convinced with the blown highlights as I think subtle tones held here would add to the image. I very much like the 'quietness' of the scene.

This would have been a perfect time to break out that ole ND grad filter!! OR, bracket exposure...The scene is nice, just not that great an execution.

Indeed, why does morning light always conjure up an image of sun? You show that light doesn't always mean sunny!

Thanks for the comments, but I rather like the sky... It was how it looked that early morning. Bright sunligt breaking through the clouds for a couple of minutes and then I had to leave.

@Beamer, thanks. Next time I will bring an ND filter and try it the ND way...
