@Pursang, Thanks. I'm honored. He's the SF King of elements. Me I'm just a fool with a camera. The shot comes from an assignment. They wanted something that said a different take on an SF Icon. So I packed my bags drove to SF for four days and got crazy. This shot was rejected. The Art Director said the Golden Gate Bridge could never look like this, and no visitor would be able to identify it. So he asked me how I got the shot and where it really is from. I gave him my expense bill. Then he knew. The first question was . "What's a gyroscope" Then he read Helicopter and the location of the bill. Well that Art Director is now into real-estate trying to sell homes. I wonder how he's doing."Not" :)))

is that where the inspiration for your similar one came from?

George, that image is indeed what sparked my desire to recreate that image early on. I had much fun trying to recreate who I consider to be one of the masters of SF imagery.

so when does the workshop week start?

George, LOL! My workshop starts in just over a week. I'm leaving on Sunday and this week I have to pick ten shots for my 'portfolio review.' UGH

@Jimjim, thanks. I was chilled to the bone, damp and shaling. I came down with pneumonia. I for got to take care of myself that day. I really wanted to work and do good. asI said it was reject. BUt I love the shot and now it's all mine. There are two work shops George. on in the UK and the other in the south west. I'm just starting to talk about it. cheers

Yes George. I d a few from time to time. Pursang is a good man, his images have feeling and they manke me think of things to sahre. but being that we don't speak but hear it's diffacult to share do to the style and format. personal I guess.

Wings, it's the texture of this shot that really does it for me. Larson is certainly adept, but this has an ethereal feeling that his pieces sometimes lack.

@pursang, thanks. Had the elements been solid it might have just been a simple shot. But the sun rays project into all the moisture drops End story is light cuts the temper down There was a swirl going on so the fog developed limbs. I love the feel and look. The effort was worth it to me. Thanks.
