this is a great shot, and though i know this exercise takes place in the morning, there is no evidence of morning light.

The soft, subtle shadows belie a mid morning sun angle. Nice one, very sharp and crisp. I love the random poses of the kids. Impossible for that many to stand still for even one second!

@Alexandre, come on??? "Terrible"??? Take a moment to look at the shadows, look at the activity. Weren't you in school once, outside in the morning for PE? Does "morning light" have to be something that smacks you in the face at 15,000 feet???

Just noticed this. Seen it before of course but it is a cracking shot. One thing that is not portrayed in this shot is the blaring, loud and obnoxious nationalistic music that often goes with such mass assemblies at schools.
