Very dark, but really, does every photo really need to avoid being very dark? Depends on what you're going for. :-) And I have a feeling you captured exactly what you wanted here. I like the mystery.
High marks for the first 4 categories. A slightly lower score for image quality because there does appear to be a general lack of sharpness and/or some maybe unintended blurriness. Great overall photo!

Thank you all! It is dark, indeed. In fact it is a shot of a woman dressed in black, who was walking along a dark alley, on a rainy night.
The part with little detail is a wall that was covered with leaves, but not lit.
As for technical details:
Camera: Nikon F100,
Film: Ilford XP2 Super 400 ISO.
Printed on: Ilford Multigrade IV RC De Luxe
Not scanned (I do not own a decent one) but photographed with a Nikon D70s.

Cool image. I would bet the ratings are taking a bit of a hit because it's sooo dark on the left. I could see a comp with most of that side gone making the image stronger. But I still like it. Very film noir.

Difficult night shot. Almost no light, but I think you saw the picture and pressed the shutter because the person has an umbrella. Otherwise it wouldn't have any impact.Excellent eye.

Nice idea but too dark for my personal taste, I can't make out enough detail.
