@Anna - This is one theme to me that is not subjective by definition. And while your beautiful image has various shades of gold it also has a number of other hues in it because it is a color image and not a true monochrome. There are many themes open to interpretation but this really isn't one of them. :)

It's for me a good way for these theme, but it could be better for me.

Whoops, I need to add that it is not subjective for relevance alone.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

No, not a microscope but after searching the world wide webb for a correct name for this fantastic lens, the name catadioptric came up. I'm not going to try to explain more, because I know I will just make a mess of the explanation! :) Maybe someone knows the right english name of the lens?

If you knew me, you'd I don't seek the comfort of indoors for photography, and like Robert Capa, a dead Magnum photographer. I am always in the middle of things. The old statement. @anna Its a wonderful place to visit if you like the Arctic cold and dampness. The trick is catching the first plane out. If you let your imagination go with the event you forget today and for that moment you are a Viking. I has nothing to do with what Christians say it is. it's pure magic of a time before.

@ anna, sorry. No I hate the combo. I don't eat apples. I was shocked to know it was your image and felt bad for commenting. I had a conversation with another photographer here and we both thought how silly it is to say anything about each other's work. Sometimes our skin get thing and in my case I've been pealed alive here. :(((( BUt I get over it and see the good. It's cold here and I was thinking of vkings and the northen lights. MY second trp will be to the Shetlands in Jan- then maybe to the northen lights if I'm not already frozen.
