Potentially, I think that this is a great image, and clearly relevant to this theme. I just wish that there wasn't such a pronounced halo around both subjects.

Fantastic scene you've captured here.
I'm not sure about the post processing. Both their faces look a bit strange, but for me the the technical part is overruled by the story which brings a smile on my face.
