i know this shot! :)

I hope you didnt mark it appropriately.. :). I have some strong ideas for this theme, and will have to shoot some original material for a change.

I love the rust color. It really makes the image pop. What are these?

ryanrahn said 2063 days ago:

Great color and sharpness. Love the rust!

Ana said 2063 days ago:

hee hee. of course I marked it appropriately. :)
I have ideas too, but the theme confuses the heck out of me.
so I might just sit this one out, as I usually do when I don't get it!

Beamer said 2063 days ago:

Wow that's some saturation!! Feels heavily processed. The rock and the DoF really makes the one in the foreground completely separate from the other, not sure that was your intent.

mar00ned said 2063 days ago:

Love the rust

stolenlife said 2063 days ago:

@Beamer: Its good to get another perspectives, I hadnt really thought about the separation that way. The DoF was shot short, but I hadnt looked at the bokeh since I processed it (almost a year ago) and it is pretty rough. Hmm too late now.

Well to most this would be abstract, but I grew up around machinery - great colors. :-)

That orange just pops! Indisputably man-made, effect by Nature - really like this.

King said 2063 days ago:

I'm wanting to offer a constructive critique, but I'm having difficulty getting into the image. The supersaturation in the foreground is also distracting from the composition, IMHO. I guess if I knew what this was or if the design were more dramatic, i would have more appeal. Others will probably love it.

Thanks King, constructive is better than a 'Cool shot' anyday. Between you and Beamer I have a few things to think about.

@ All: For those of you that didnt spot it, this is a digger bucket sunk in the sand. Thanks for playing
