Hey, there's a horse at the window!
Good impact!

kadenajack said 2334 days ago:

Well, you don't see that every day. This has because of the subject matter, this has great impact for me. I wish the image had a little more contrast though. It seems a little washed out.

Ana said 2334 days ago:

I agree kadenjack. It was a tough shot to process....believe me. Washed out colours, sun glare, camera distortion. But it was a HORSE, and I only had my point and shoot!!

contrerasphoto said 2334 days ago:

I think the horse is looking down....Not sure if the image fits the theme.

King said 2334 days ago:

Hah! And I repeat, Hah!

If you had used "Vanishing Point" in Photoshop CS2, the cloned upper right window would have been much less noticeable.

Is there any window in this shot that isn't cloned? I'm just curious.

Ana said 2334 days ago:

That's the only window. This shot was so hard to process, as I've said. It was really tough, and maybe I should have just posted it as it was..but I would have gotten slammed for the original shot....I know this.

I don't know much about Photoshop, learning as I go.... and I have elements not CS2.
Sorry.
I just liked the shot cause of the horse. Sue me!!

Ana said 2334 days ago:

@contrerasphoto, to see this horse you have to look up. the theme actually says nothing about taking pictures of people or animals looking up, but that the photographer should look up to see what he might be missing.
Funny, that, huh?

King said 2334 days ago:

Ana, calm down, no one is going to sue you, LOL, :>) I think the horse is great, and I actually saw such a thing in a Ukranian restaurant in Moscow, along with a cow, a goat and some chickens.

I like the photograph (didn't know it was yours, of course). I assumed the photographer knew that the cloned window may not pass close inspection and wanted to pass on a great, new Photoshop feature that I know of.

The cloned window adds an offbeat quality to the image, which I like. Some of the other windows are clearly out of alignment (I'm an amateur carpenter, so I notice those kinds of things), so I thought, wrongfully it turns out, that you may have cloned one or two other windows.

There's no way I can give you extra credit for "Degree of Difficulty," but I certainly understand.

Ana said 2334 days ago:

Oh, I'm calm

No worries, King.

King said 2334 days ago:

Ana,
So were being funny, then? I'm a tiny bit sensitive to your POV, if you understand me.

I know! Let's talk about your fabulous featured image of the little boy under the tree, peeking through the fence pickets!

Ana said 2334 days ago:

Well, he was looking down, just like the horse. haha.
:O)

King said 2334 days ago:

Exactly!
