What is the halo/reflection above?

Am I seeing a show of the building on clould/mist? The building is a little bright in spots, but I like the mystery (What is the shodew, what is under the dome, ...).

Wonderful shadow against the clouded sky. Very crisp!

What I find most intriguing about this shot is the fact that the building seems to be silhouetted against the low clouds in the sky. Is that for real or did you add that?

I'm curious to know what the background of this is, and how the shadow is displayed! I might have straightened this a bit, but it's very relevant.

That is very cool. Is it casting a shadow on a low cloud cover?

I have been stuck on a plane for several hours today (with unscheduled stops, delayed flights and one flight left to catch hours from now, oh joy!) so now I am online for a bit. This is the top of City Hall in SF and that IS a shadow cast onto the fog. It was quite a find but only the top was visible where I could catch the shadow.

Congratulations on this shot Tracy. When we were out that night and you pointed out the shadow against the foggy sky it was striking. Nicely done.

A shadow in the fog...pretty impressive. I've recognized this building straight away since it is the first sight that I've seen waking up to in the morning for the past 26 days. It's so strange to see it in a photograph and in such in a out of the ordinary stand point :-)

Haiete, Mark told me that you were moving to SF and had contacted him, we will all have to get together.;-)

Nice idea. The details are a little washed out.
