I don't really see much joy in this photo, and while the photography might've been trying to obscure the head with the boots--I can't stand the composition. It frustrates me that I can't see his face, because it seems as though that might be the element that would tell the story of the photo.

I think I need to reply!!!!! This was taken quite a while back at my best friends stag weekend. We were all being a bit pathetic - leaping off sand dunes, leaping in the freezing sea etc. etc.
This guy turned up late and we basically took the p*** out of him all weekend for it - so you can imagine how funny we all found it when this picture came back with his face blocked out with his boots (he leapt off the dune and threw his shoes in the air .... you can see what's happening just about in the shadows)
So really it was a moment of joy and much laughter by us all ... and particular joy to me when I saw what a strange capture i'd managed to get .....
