Did you shoot this for the theme? ;-)

Love it!

George said 1017 days ago:

godalmighty is there a drop of blood at the tip of that blade?? figured i'd swing by ws and wham this is the first thing is see. sheesh. scuse me while i catch a breath.

ok.

i've looked at this image a bit, gotten over the initial shock, and wondering why the place is so tidy? i mean, wouldn't there be some sign of resistance? wouldn't that poor chap on the floor put up one helluva fight? or, wait, are those the photographer's feet? ;) and why's the blood spattered UP, across the cabinets above her head?

course, maybe SHE did the job! she's the killer, she's been found out by this good samaritan on the left holding the murder weapon for safe keeping, as she screams, "CHOCOLATE! WHO ATE ALL THE CHOCOLATE?!!"

George said 1017 days ago:

btw, dots across the top. well done.

is that a tattoo on her foot?

and, i'd never have pegged this as you tracy! you go girl.

Beamer said 1017 days ago:

Somebody bought just one too many lenses!! Great fun!!

As lbimaging guessed this was shot for the theme but this is far from how it was envisioned. Today we photographed an actress friend and her boyfriend, just some cute romantic stuff and headshots but I also asked if they were up for a murder scene in the kitchen and they were more than game.

It was all meant to be campy and fun, ergo the blood splatter when there was really no reason. Mark has one coming which won't be a secret since you have seen this one, but it has a slightly different take. :)

George, you cracked me up with the chocolate and yes those are photographers feet but not mine....

Thanks BTW.

I know this scene

ThelmaBlizzard said 1017 days ago:

Tracy?

ThelmaBlizzard said 1017 days ago:

....AH HA!

pursang said 1017 days ago:

Thel, I would appreciate your appreciation of my feet in the scene. Even though I am not a SAG member, I do expect some respect.

ThelmaBlizzard said 1017 days ago:

Those are your feet?
I thought someone butchered a chicken. :)

TracyMartin said 1017 days ago:

@ Thelma, the juxtaposition is interesting isn't it. :)

ThelmaBlizzard said 1017 days ago:

Interesting, indeed.

sheila77 said 1016 days ago:

Really super staged..seeing the follow on, did she have that gun in a drawer? Just happened to have it handy eh? Really well done.

groen65 said 1016 days ago:

more 'blood' is needed, but that would mean a hell of a clean-up. love it!

katznjamn said 1016 days ago:

good idea!

philippe said 1016 days ago:

Hehe! Fun!

RichardFord said 1015 days ago:

Now these cut feet work!

Beamer said 1015 days ago:

Come on Richard!! Don't encourage him, we don't want to have to look at his feed every week!!

King said 1015 days ago:

NIMK...Not in my kitchen! I know there is another in this series. It's great that so far there isn't any "blood" on the woman's clothes...doesn't she put on an apron in the next image? Because I know about the next image, this one doesn't seem so scary. High marks.

King said 1015 days ago:

Congratulations, Tracy...I wonder why the other shot isn't featured...they seem to go together so well. :>)

ThelmaBlizzard said 1015 days ago:

....and Tracy makes it across the finish line, first.

King said 1015 days ago:

...this one is much more dramatic, though.

RichardFord said 1015 days ago:

Aren't serrated edge knives better for mutilation and general stabbing? Something that will get through all that bone and sinew?

TracyMartin said 1015 days ago:

Thanks everyone! It wasn't supposed to be completely plausible, either of them. I got the idea from the theme blurb about what else happens in the kitchen(other than cooking and sex) but was too busy to set it up until I asked the couple in it if they were interested. Not only that we did each shot in just a couple of minutes since it was at the end of spending the day with them.

@Richard - Mark will contest that remark. A Katana can slice through a man in one swipe. ;)

RichardFord said 1015 days ago:

Yes indeed. As can the wit and tongue of a quick thinking woman!

TracyMartin said 1015 days ago:

HAHAHHAHAHA! Touché.

pursang said 1015 days ago:

This one is my favorite of the two. Melissa 'screaming' without an audible scream just shows what a stage actress can do!

Beamer said 1015 days ago:

And see, I thought she really was screaming from looking at your feet!

TracyMartin said 1015 days ago:

Hillbilly - did you ever do stand up? You are very funny. :)

Beamer said 1015 days ago:

Nope! I do still stand up to pee most of the time but not always!

Beamer said 1015 days ago:

And I did get a laugh or two out of this:

Beamer said 4 hours ago: "And see, I thought she really was screaming from looking at your feet!"

That would be my children who scream at the sight of my feet.

Moral of this story. Never bring a man home with bigger feet than your mate
