I really like the feel to this shot, and it definitely fits the theme. Those flares or lights or whatever they are are way too distracting though.

Heath - I have really struggled with the light part of this image(they are hand rails leading down another set of stairs.) Some days I really love this shot and others I cringe and wonder what the hell was I thinking by posting it. That is one of the reasons I wanted to post it here at WS, the ultimate experimental ground, where one can usually get gut reaction feedback. So I have had a couple of yeah's and one nay, so I am still on the fence. :-)

I could tell right away that they were hand rails, and I love that they're there. Before I said "wish those flares weren't there" I tried to imagine the shot without it...and I see it takes away a HUGE element of the shot.... the fact that they didn't use the rail at all, but each other. The 'flare' also frames the shot, keeps the subjects in their own 'box' and balances everything out. Without the rails, the shot wouldn't have any of that.
