the hand is wonderful, and the focus is great.... but that background is distracting..i might have cropped that or desaturated it a tad.

Oh, this is so cool how the hand is covered in clay, and it looks as though the sculpture is growing out of the hand... but unfortunately the balloon and the face in the background have nothing to do with it.

Except for the lack of sharpness and (on this monitor) depth of tone, this is a very good photograph, IMHO.
