Well now. Thank you not only for commenting, but for making a great comment. I love this shot for all the same reasons. I think I might have used this shot for "balance" at one time? I should go look.

Not sure if I am getting ground level from this. But otherwise this is a cracker of a shot. Great symbolism and technique and quality. Nice shadows too.

This is really good! Nice capture on the theme.

so walk the Planck down and low and up pops a dries leaf. If you crush it then it could be like tea leaves to read ones fortune. good going

A beautifully lit, interesting image, and great for this theme.

Nice light, but the composition could be more dynamic. (If you know what I mean). :)

Very nice

Composition is too centered for me. Like the lighting a lot though.

Very nice, simple and clean. Nice light, nicely captured. Is this natural light or did you light this?
Ana said 1012 days ago:
Hey Beamer. It's all natural. As found on an early morning walk in the woods, over a bridge.
Thank you for commenting.

And btw, I think this should have been an *easy* feature in this theme and thought it might be the first of the theme. Really nice work Ana.

:) Thank you so much.
None of mine worked out this time. :)

Very cool! It looks like it is on a fence rail, though, not the ground. But still excellent!
Ana said 1006 days ago:
yeah..it's a bridge rail, but the leaf is "ground level"
thanks much!

Oh, I just love it! The lighting works so well. The DOF is shallow and doesn't drift too far into the photo. The colors of the leaf blend in so well with the color of the board. The shadow on the left balances the leaf on the right perfectly. And my favorite part is the contrast - such a nice clean break from light to dark with the top of the leaf almost poetically meandering into the darkness.
