Nice. I've been called a literalist before. (Or was that illiterate?) Excellent take.

very good shot .humour. technique.5's everywhere

Hummingbird said 1011 days ago:

The scratch in the middle of the level bothers me, but I get it. The ground is apparently level.

Hummingbird said 1011 days ago:

I thought for sure that this was going to be my husband's, he's been talking about putting a level on the ground all week.

kadenajack said 1011 days ago:

This is the idea I never got around to shooting. I'm glad you did and I give you all 5's for it.

Beamer said 1011 days ago:

@Hummingbird, if Jack's level is nicer, pack it up and send it over to me, mine has actually been used quite a lot as you can see!!

@both of ya, I had this idea day one of the Theme but just finally got around to shooting it this morning before work!!

This is shot on my workbench in the garage! Lit with 2 lights. One key light level with level and the left and a flashlight to the right shinning across the back of the level and the rock I put back there. Some potting mix on the workbench surface and a couple of rocks and a couple of plants behind. This was shot with my LX3 sitting on the workbench in macro focus mode, auto white balance, aperture mode. I shot about 6 or 8 frames, this was the best!!

Too funny!! I love it!

Obviously not shot for this theme though right? Just found it sittin' in the archives? ;-)

Most definitely deserves a feature. Nicely done.

Oh you are a level head. nice going

Mal said 1011 days ago:

yeah, spot on! I was actually going to set up a shot with me angle grinding a spirit level, but did not get around to it. nearly full marks here, love your interpretation.

Mal said 1011 days ago:

well done Clyde, very nicely done.

RichardFord said 1010 days ago:

Good. Like the use of the spirit level. Nice bold colours as well.

King said 1010 days ago:

Oh, you rogue. I was thinking of taking my grinder to my old metal level (I see Mal had the same idea). This is better than my idea as it is simpler and more direct.

You are firing on all 8 cylinders, dude. Congratulations.

Beamer. I didn't know you are a level headed sort of a gentleman . Being that you've ben to Trona I figured your square head was more of a whack job and polished by that girls buffer in the image Sound like you sent king on before. :) hunt for things to shoot.
