I love the idea, but the tree looks a touch soft on my monitor. The subtle gradients in the background are perfect!

I'm not sure if I like the soft focus in the foreground. It gives the image an (unwanted) sense of depth when the rest of the image looks flat by comparison.

Could've been sharpened a bit, and perhaps upped the contrast a little, but it's a very spooky, pictorial image.
