I really like the colours here. Great shot

Soph said 2167 days ago:

Great texture and colors, I gave 5 for the compo, the technique and the quality.

Thank you breakthedummy and Soph. This image is of the cable car intersection where two cable tracks intersect and the cable cars must 'Let Go' of the cable before crossing. If one of them does not 'Let Go,' there will be a very abrupt stop for all involved! This image is another attempt at my recreation of one of Frederic Larson's images from Mystical San Francisco. You can view some of his photographs from the book here:

Thanks again!

Thank you for the explainations, I really didn't imagine where it could be written (and sorry for my english!)

breakthedummy said 2167 days ago:

Ana said 2167 days ago:

so what does it really say???

Ana said 2167 days ago:

oh..... that. : )

TracyMartin said 2167 days ago:

I like this but find it slightly unbalanced.

TracyMartin said 2167 days ago:

Oh Mark, you finally got me. I would not have ever thought that this was yours. :-)

As for the balance I am not sure if the dark metal shouldn't have been perfectly centered but I guess it would be a trade off for the words.

pursang said 2167 days ago:

Yeah, the balance is off as I viewed Mr. Larson's image it's SO MUCH better, but that's why he's a pro and I'm a novice. It does tickle me though the you didn't know this was one of mine. No shallow dof, no simple composition, no black and white. Still life is not my thing for sure!

Let's see if King figures it out.

Brilliant capture....the spacing of the words actually adds to the overall meaning of the statement. Very high marks for that.
