I was hoping someone would say that - its got nothing whatsoever to do with the theme, but Ive been waiting to post it here for ages, and its my last chance... Shame it got the gip from the last 6 raters, now i'll never know (or care) what they thought. Have a good life y'all

This looks to me, like the girl is getting ready to say farewell to the lizzard and set him free. What's cool is that it's a young girl and not a young boy. Nice capture.

Does anyone know if the feature mark is extra high this week? This scored better than the feature for last week, but hasnt starred yet... Just curious, not anal and obsessive or anything, like you know, well, Whatever

It seems that the Feature bar has been raised, which tells me something about Brandon's automated algorithm putting images on the home page.

My hunch is that folks are being exceptionally generous in their ratings (guilty), so the average is higher than normal, and Brandon's algorithm is associated with the average. The threshold for Features has changed over time.

I have a featured shot in this theme. With an overall average of 3.914, it sat in the queue for a long time before it hit the home page.
