And incidentally, I do like the black and white and the removal of the other birds. Nicely done.

judging by some of the other comments, i thought id give this a go.

a burning layer was applied to boost the contrast.. i think its pretty extreme now!

You know, they were right, it is better without the other birds. Slight quality issues between the wings, otherwise very good

This has the making of a good photo, but something about the lighting/placement is a little off for me. However, it does show extreme contrast and I do like swans.
