Just looked at this again and yep, still laughing. I think it's the eyes and how they're diverted to the right. The crazy hair and beard certainly adds to the drama though :)

A very fun take on the image! The extreme contrast between the presumed cultures of the three people is readily apparent, pleasant, and tastefully humorous all at the same time. Compositionally, the shot is acceptable as a "snapshot" image, but unfortunately there are aspects that are not as "artistic". That of course, is typical for snapshots. But, overall a very cute photograph and one that makes me smile.
