I titled it "Predictably Irrational". After a cool book on consumer habits. Indeed if you notice the tiles or lines on the grounds in most shopping centres - they lead right to shop doors. People subconsciously do weird stuff when their environment around them passively suggests so. As is the case here.

Seems like your subjects were mostly avoiding walking on the line of signs. The only interesting part of this for me is the one woman who appears to be looking at you in the left center of frame next to the cut off foot...

They definitely seem to be walking in a line similar to the signs but avoiding them at the same time.

Yes - in this case no one walked on the signs/adverts placed on the ground. Go back the next day or any other day and people are going up and down the main walk way. It is as if they avoided stepping on them. Very interesting it all was.
