Fantastic! I really like this. Two people connected by their relationship amid the hectic background of the city ... 'what does the rest matter as long as you're here now' ...

Very nice to see some people as well as all the architecture.

Well spotted - a great shot.

Ohhhhhh...breathe this moment in time despite the rush of fate! Well done...Five Stars from me!

This is very good...it looks staged, it's so good. High marks.

Super image, captures a moment so well. Whether it captures 'City' in the same way is open for debate, but I like this a lot.

@ King

Yes it was staged. Only my second pre planned shot ever - the first being that orange and blue velvia shot in Sydney back at 1x.

I had this idea for a slow shutter scene in this one area of the new subway line that is the worst vortex of all in Beijing as it dumps the most people per area at a time and they only have one small way to exit out. So I wanted a long exposure with some static anchor after shooting it without a static anchor and not getting the feel of movement and chaos that was after.

My mate's (who is a pro and lent me his D3 for this and advice and how to manage the scene and logistics to make my idea come out) new girl friend is very exotic looking and nice to shoot.

I asked to borrow her to just stand in the crowd for my shot. Half way through the shoot I thought then a kiss would be better so Nick went in to do the honours (leaving our kit un attended on the ground behind me) while I waited for the right moment.

I wouldn't upload this as street. While I prefer happy accidents. What I am trying to do more of to grow is like what I see chromasia, ursula, yourself and other great shooters do. Think of an idea first and then go about making it. As opposed to what I usually do which is a lot of walking and eagle eyed vigilance.

Just feel the need to diversify a bit.

@Richard...well, you accomplished what you were after with flying colors...errr...flying b/w tones.

Congratulations on a beautiful photograph and Feature.

King said 1014 days ago:

@Richard...you mentioned me in the same sentence with Chromasia and Ursula. I have to go lie down now...it's all too much.

I knew this was a 'Richard' shot as soon as I saw it. Nothing to fault in my book. BTW Richard, Youtube are offering to pay me now for the M9 vid I did for you it's had so many hits. ;^)

Mal said 1012 days ago:

Ta Mal. See I am not all fire and brimstone. I am a very loving and caring person with loads of empathy for others! ;-)
