This was taken during the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco. That fair is listed as "The World's largest Fetish and Bondage" fair in the nation. Clothing is optional at the street fair. I saw this scene, sans the guy in the window. Since the window was open I just waited HOPING with all hope that someone would appear in the window at some point.

After about 20 minutes, this guy came to the window first without the binoculars and then he reached down and got them, put them to his face and I got this shot. I was thrilled and reminded of a comment I read from Cartier-Bresson. He stated that he often waited in a visually rich spot in hopes that something remarkable would appear.
