Great scale to the image and lots of different textures

Very dramatic, and I can definitely see this one in a movie.

Outstanding b&w. Reminds me a little of Mallick's 'Days of Heaven'.

WOW! I like this one!! Crop this to 1:1.85 by loosing @1/3 of the bottom and you would have nailed it for Cinematic!! Very high marks for me anyway!!

Sweeping sky/farmhouse/barn brings to mind cinema of yore. I like this. Lovely treatment. I find the bottom band of water too dark. What do you think about cropping that out? Holding my hand over it adds more impact. Less is more?

I thought I'd already commented on his one, so forgive me if this is redundant, but WOW! This shot is stunning! Is it hdr? The depth of ute clouds and the shadows on the ground are just amazing. The composition is wonderful, with the cloud on the left balancing the buildings on the right so well. And very cinematic, the image is vibrating with the sense of something about to happen. Love it. I'd love to see a little color though, B&W just seems so obvious for "cinematic." :)

My first thought was that this looked like the farm house in cold blood. Love the mood.

Great opening shot for a Hitchcock thriller. Only minor maybe I would loose the water in the foreground to match same width of the tyre tracks. Superb work. Well done.

Thanks for the kind comments and the crop suggestions are duly noted....

Very cool. Love the clouds and the composition. Def cinematic.

I think it fits the theme nicely and I like the b/w conversion. My only issue is with the compostion. It is to balanced- 50/50-ski and land. It might be more effective if you choose another pov that would make the scence more dynamic.

I love the dark, wide expanse. Perfect for an opening scene of a Stephen King movie. I don't think I'd change a thing.
