Mtmartini, I understand what you mean about the vignetting. This was from my vignetting phase. :-)
I generally don't go back and redo photos, but take what I've learned and apply them on my future photos. But that is of course not to say that I don't still throw in a vignette now and then.
Beamer this was taken at the Wings over Houston Airshow. It was a stormy weekend but it made for interesting photos on the ramp especially with the reflections of the puddles on the ground and the heavy skies.

Well, why not? The scene is ready for the director (who had been waiting for the cloud and light to get just right) to shout, "Action!" High marks.

Wonderful! Great tones and the dramatic sky doesn't promise much good.
On my screen it's quite dark at the bottom part of the photo. A little bit of fill light would bring some details back.
Still high marks!

Thank you everyone! As I said earlier I would probably process this differently today than I did then but I still love this photo, partly because I love the airshow and love the World War II planes.
You could comment on this photo if you were logged in.
Could have done without the vignette but is excellently composed and a perfectly nostalgic image reminiscent of the WWII days of cinema.
