Some one once said that the foreground is the subject. Someone said" that if you get rid of the green stuff it would be a stronger picture". Another quote from the group was " I'm not sure what I'm looking at" . The tree on the left and the brown brown bits are the sharpest. I think maybe a better visual examination of this would produce a better presentation.

Thanks for the comments.
@Wings, I am a bit confused as to what group you are referring to. If it was a comment on this photo or something else. This is a broken, rusty barrel of some kind.
But, thank you for the constructive critisism. I will look at it again.

A nice soft feeling image. I do like the contrast between the can and the plant. Nice ground level work!

I like our camera position and that foreground plant, but looks like an open can, not broken.

great photograph. i love the plant at the front. I'm not clear as to what this is, it looks old, for sure.

@Beamer, thanks for the comment! I like the contrast too! :)
@Nick, it is broken I promise! It has a large dent on the side, you can se a bit of that and it has a rip where the background shows. Thanks for your opinion though! I need to show the 'broken' more.
@Ana, thanks! Yes, it is old and it is a large barrel.

I'm not sure what this object is, but it definitely has seen better days. Overall the shot lacks a strong focus. Though the broken thing is placed as the central figure, the tree bark on the left is in much better focus and ultimately to my eye, more interesting.

The contrast of the human rubbish and the green sprout is cute, but otherwise not a lot of impact for me.
