there's a bit of a confusion in this composition. It has too many elements but they don't give me any kind of context to the main subject. So the image turns out to be a bit confusing to my eyes.
i love the B&W conversion... the tones are great and so is the detail.

Yes , Half a whale. but in America when it's broke it's broke and forgotten :)))))) Shot with a " Veriwde 100" They are tac sharp lenses at any f stop. 120 rolls, and fun to whip out and have some digital wiz banger tell me about things. Anyway this it the abandon power station on the Hudson that was replaced some 40 years. The new station which replaced it put PCB's in the hudson and killed off about 30 percent of the small town populations from water pollution in the river which eventually got into the water table during floods along the Hudson.
Walking in an old town that said American is just starting to come back with new people unaware of the existing problems during their flight for cheap homes. The signs still say do not fish. But for me it is a reminder of the many children and mean and women that suffered in their 50's and passed in their mid 60's from depending on water to cook or drink from the contaminated spring waters. Well out side of high tech digital guru ship life goes unchanged in America for the new generations. that are CEO's at 33.

Old, but well worn to my eye. The only thing that really looks broken is the bit on the right. Feels strongly sharpened to me too.
