Cheers all for the comments. @Richard thanks for the complement :) Not storm as such but a period of erosion over a space of 40 years. It was a WW1 and WW2 coastal gun battery close to spurn point.

Ah.. there a lot of those up an down the eastern coast of Australia. But they are mostly restored and managed as historical items. Not so here it seems. :-(

I can't tell exactly what that used to be, but it sure appears to be quite broken. The fact that you did this as a long exposure I think adds to the overall impact. The sky is stunning and picture quality excellent! I hope to see this one featured.

That is one beautiful image. It doesn't exactly read as 'broken' to me, but it's a gorgeous -- almost abstract -- composition of forms.
