very nice, peaceful and serene.

MaximusM3 said 961 days ago:

Thanks, Thelma and Ana. Kind of proud of this one, as it turned out just as I envisioned it in my head.
If anything sort of technical is of interest..this was taken a 1950s toy camera..a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye..taken apart, flipped the lens to achieve the blur, motion like effect. No aperture settings, no shutter speeds, nothing. Ilford FP4 (120 size) , one simple click and developed in Rodinal for 12 min. It doesn't get any lower tech than this :)

There's a great feeling of movement in this shot

I have one of those old Brownie cameras sitting around here somewhere! Cool.

rolopix said 961 days ago:

Looks like a flipped-lens Hawkeye. Nice.

MaximusM3 said 961 days ago:

Yes, Robert!...And you must be a film shooter :)

Beamer said 961 days ago:

LOVE THIS, LOVE YOUR SLOGAN!!

MaximusM3 said 961 days ago:

Thanks, Clyde!
I hope that's not offensive to anyone :)

Beamer said 961 days ago:

Well in my lifetime it's usually been deeply offensive...but that's just me...I hear some like it...

MaximusM3 said 961 days ago:

LOL!! Yeah..I think it's a little more "pleasurable" now..without that edge, that "au natural" feeling. Alright, that's it now..this may get out of hand :)

George said 961 days ago:

hell's bells! call me a "proctologist!"

King said 960 days ago:

@Max...in my day, the Kodak Brownie Hawkeye was *not* a toy. You also wrote, "It doesn't get any lower tech than this." I could argue that point with you, but I compliment you on what you've done here.

MaximusM3 said 960 days ago:

Hi King...thanks. I think it was mostly marketed to kids back then but I am 1965 vintage so can't say from first hand experience :)
As far as low tech..could be..but the camera does only have a shutter release button so, compared to what's out there today..oh boy! :)
